about us
The name Kōena came to us spontaneously — the way the best things often do. We fell in love with the way it sounded. Warm. Grounded. Quietly powerful.
In Hawaiian, kōena means "what remains" — what's left when everything else falls away. When you strip away the stress, the symptoms, the years of feeling unheard — what remains? The real you. That's who we're here to help find their way back.
In Southern African tradition, Koena means "one who sees." In Indian culture, beautiful and delicate. In Germanic tradition, brave.
A name that means what remains. One who sees. Beautiful. Brave. We didn't plan any of that. But we couldn't have planned it better if we tried.

our story
Kōena exists because of a personal crisis.
Founder Lyndsey Cordova spent over a decade in the operating room before getting seriously ill in 2016. Four months. Six doctor visits. No answers.
Out of desperation she turned to traditional Chinese medicine. Her first acupuncture treatment gave her the first full night of sleep she'd had in weeks. Eastern healing did what Western medicine couldn't — and it changed everything.
Rooted in Longmont her entire life, she built the clinic she wished had existed when she needed it most.
Alongside her, Medical Director Courtney Williams, FNP brings a depth of clinical experience that means nothing gets missed.
Together they built something Longmont has never had before. And they built it for you.
If you've ever been dismissed, misunderstood, or never felt truly heard — you're exactly who Kōena was built for.
One Roof. Every Solution.
From GLP-1 weight management and hormone replacement to acupuncture, functional medicine, massage, aesthetics, infrared light and injection therapy — we built every service around one belief: you deserve care that actually works.
For the first time in Longmont, you can get all of it in one place with providers who collaborate on your care and never lose sight of the whole picture.
